Shane Lopes
My name is Shane Lopes and I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. As a former competitor in football, baseball and track, exercise has been a center point in my life long before my career began as a personal trainer.
After graduating from Dos Pueblos High School, I continued my athletic career in football at the University of Arizona and Delaware State University as a quarterback and wide receiver. Upon college graduation, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where I interned as a Performance Coach at Philippi Sports Institute (PSI) under the tutelage of the accredited World Strongest Man Champion and Division 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach Mark Philippi. At PSI, we specialized in developing athleticism and preventing injury for athletes competing at the high school, college and professional level.
Currently, I am entering my third year as the Strength & Conditioning Coach at Dos Pueblos High School. I am also an Instructional Aide in the Special Education Department at Dos Pueblos High School where I work with students who have learning disabilities and/or come from traumatic backgrounds.
As your coach, I will begin with an assessment of your current work capacity followed by a thorough analysis of where you stand today and what your vision is for the future. Your program will be tailored toward your goals on a specific timeline and we will work collaboratively to make your vision a reality. Whether you are a “competing athlete” or a “weekend warrior”, I am confident that our team of personal trainers can guide you toward achieving your goals and improving your overall quality of life.
Every day is an opportunity!
