Mindful Monday is a quarterly event put on jointly by UCSB Health and Wellness and Housing and Residential Services. Mindful Mondays in the past have included free yoga classes, tai chi sessions, and socials with free food. These events focus on the concept of mindfulness, which is a state of active, open attention on the present, in order to help students de-stress, recenter, and be as successful as possible here at UCSB and in their lives. Everyone is encouraged to come, there’s no experience necessary! It’s a great, positive space to meet new people and relax.
